Smuggler’s Retreat is freshly renovated three-bedroom/three bathroom poured masonry home built on the side of a hill 200 ft. above Smuggler’s Cove Beach overlooking the north shore
of St. Croix. Views from Chistiansted to the west, to Point Udall, the eastern-most point in the United States to the east, and all the way to the south shore of St. Croix are included in the 270 degree panoramic views this tropical villa has to offer.
Unobstructed views to the north include Buck Island, St. Thomas, St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
This lovely tropical retreat offers you and your family or friends an in-ground pool, surrounded by a cool-to-the-touch concrete and tile deck and sitting areas to enjoy the views of the Caribbean. A gas grill is provided for outside cooking as is table and chairs.
Inside you will find this home has been tastefully decorated in bright tropical colors, and is designed with the “open-air” feeling of a great room, dining room and entrance foyer all in one. Cable TV ,DVD and CD stereo are included for your enjoyment.
Windows abound everywhere, so that no area of the house in excluded from the “to-die-for” views which are just steps away.
The upper level has two-master bedrooms with king beds, each with their very own full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and disposal. A clothes washer and dryer are in the laundry area just off the kitchen.
The lower level boasts a very private third master bedroom, with a king bed and full bath. This bedroom has its very own entrance, and a private veranda overlooking the tropical gardens and the east end of St. Croix.
Ceiling fans thru out the house and air conditioned bedrooms add to your comfort.
For those unexpected and rare occasions that the power may go off, Smuggler’s Retreat has its own diesel power generator to keep the lights on, when everyone else around you is in the dark.
Smuggler’s Retreat is located 15 minutes from Christiansted, and the Seaborne floatplane dock. St. Croix airport is just 20 minutes away, and many little delis and convenience shops are just minutes from the villa.
For those who golf, The Reef Country Club is just 5 minutes away as is the St. Croix Yacht Club. Just minutes away on the south shore is the Divi Carina Bay Resort and Casino. The Divi offers night life, restaurants and gambling and a beautiful beach to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. St. Croix offers a wide variety of first class restaurants with great waterfront seating just minutes away.
This very private villa is located in the North Grapetree area of the east end of St. Croix. Prevailing ocean breezes keep this home cool on the warmest days, and the sound of the ocean breaking below, lulls you to sleep at night.
